Head of Client Services, Mobile Devices Europe London, ENGLAND

Nielsen Mobile, the world's largest provider of syndicated consumer research to the telecom and mobile media markets, is seeking a Head of Client Services, Mobile Devices Europe. Nielsen Mobile is a service of The Nielsen Company, the world's largest and oldest market research firm.

The Head of Client Services, Mobile Devices Europe, will report to the Vice President of Client Services. This person will have responsibility for managing Nielsen Mobile's relationship with European OEMs and Software providers. The role provides the opportunity to develop long-term, deep relationships with a small set of clients. This role will be based in the UK.

Responsibilities:

Developing a comprehensive and achievable strategic plan for the accounts;
Growing revenue through sales of incremental products and price increases on annual renewals;
Developing a large set of relationships at CxO, VP, and Director levels within Nokia, Sony Ericsson, and Symbian
Leading custom analysis, consulting engagements and data modeling that drives improved decisions and performance from Nielsen Mobile’s information;
Leading client service activities, including training and support, for a broad group of end-users within the client organization;
Serving as a internal thought leader around business applications of the Nielsen Mobile dataset;
Discovering and qualifying new product development opportunities;
Spending 25%-30% of time on site with client.

Requirements:

The successful candidate we seek will have 10+ years work experience. He/she has ideally worked in the wireless/telecom industry, in management consulting and has earned an M.B.A. This person works well in an entrepreneurial environment with other highly driven colleagues and possesses a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves work ethic. In addition, he/she will possess the following:

A solid understanding of the wireless or telecom services market in several domains - marketing, product and portfolio strategy, competitive dynamics;
Successful track record with a top-tier management consulting firm / leading European OEMs (Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Symbian)
An ability to assess client needs effectively and address needs through new products and services
