Verizon Business is seeking TWO Senior Network Security Sales Engineers
Location: (Downtown LA and Denver)
Job Description
Articulate Verizon Business value proposition to all levels within a customer's organization. Be conversant in security related topics, methodologies, industry trends, and core technologies. Map customer's identified business and technical issues to Verizon Business' solutions and clearly document customer project needs. Identify technical (Verizon Business' or customer's) barriers to sales. Identify and coordinate Verizon Business internal resources required to develop customer solutions. Assist customers in their evaluation of Verizon Business products and services. Guide the RFP/RFI process to best position Verizon Business. Provide and review sample deliverables and project methodologies. Conduct educational sessions with groups within the customers' organization and within Verizon Business. Assist in proposal and SOW development and support Pre-sales and client meeting support; Assist in making appropriate contacts at existing clients. Identify additional opportunities at existing clients and work with sales team to close. Assist in the development of acct strategy. Presentation and demonstration support. Work with the core sales org. to meet bookings & revenue. Establish relationship with customer and identify the key technical influencers. Establish positive relationships to earn customer recommendations. Position Verizon Business for enterprise-wide solutions. Prioritize multiple projects and communicate project requirements/timelines.
Requirements
6-10 Years experience in Security Sales and Information Technology. Previous experience in a consultative selling position. Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. Extensive expertise in Managed Security Services, Networking, Security Policy and Security Consulting. Must have strong presentation and communication skills. Must be comfortable with communicating at all levels of the customer organization (Technical, Mid-management, C-level executives). Ability to successfully interact with core sales account teams, Security Sales and Security Solutions Development organizations. CISSP Security certification. Other industry certifications: CISA, CISM, GIAC, ISSEP, ISSMP and vendor certifications (Cisco, RSA) are desirable.
